On this In Between Moment

This solo is an early experimental work by Yunjung Lee, preceding 〈1/75th of a Second〉. It begins with a simple physical question: How long can a body remain in the process of falling?
Lee repeatedly extends the moment between standing and falling. The body loses balance, falls, recovers, and falls again. As this cycle continues, the distinction between falling and standing begins to dissolve. The body becomes uncertain of its direction, moving between instability and stability, anxiety and ease.
Rather than trying to regain balance, the body stays within this uncertainty. Somewhere between falling and standing, balance appears only for a moment, then disappears again.
The work explores this fleeting state of balance—not as something to achieve or hold, but as something that continually emerges within instability.
