Internal Body Vibration
Korea National Contemporary Dance Company (KNCDC), Choreography Lab Advanced Program Final Presentation

<Internal Body Vibration>begins with the question: Where does movement begin? What happens to the body when a small vibration that begins inside the body travels to other parts of the body, and then to another body? What new vibrations and movements can emerge when instinctive and non-human rhythms from different bodies meet?
Subtle movements arising from internal sensations expand into vibrations through choreographic scores, then transform as they encounter the vibrations of other bodies. The dancers overlap their bodies and exchange vibrations, creating unfamiliar rhythms and movements that are not produced by their own intention alone. The work explores whether vibration itself can become movement, and what kinds of images and sensations such movement might evoke.
