Movement held in suspension,
a direction yet to be taken.
A time when nothing seems to happen,
a place where nothing has yet become—
and yet, within it, countless things might still occur.

The body appears to be still.
Yet in the act of not doing,
it remains quietly open to what it might still do,
to what it might still become.

Within this suspended time,
body and world touch, their boundaries beginning to dissolve.
Disappearance and being alive,
stillness and movement,
flow into one another
like a single breath.
