Choreographer Yunjung Lee and IVAAIU City (Dongwook Lee and Seongsu Park) begin with a question: “Could this moment, right now, be the last romantic era in which humans, AI, and robots are still learning how to be together?”

Together with the robotic arm MOS, they explore a landscape of unprepared coexistence—unstable moments, conversations in which each side searches for the other’s language, small gestures of comfort, and an uncertain sense of simply “being together.”

MOS, a robotic arm with six joints, begins by receiving movement scores created by Yunjung Lee from movements inside the human body. At first, Lee gives MOS simple or improvised movements, almost like watering a plant each day. Over time, these movements develop into more structured scores. Equipped with a camera as a form of visual perception, MOS learns from both the given scores and the movements that emerge from them, gradually attempting a dialogue with the human body.

Through this process, the two influence and respond to each other. The accumulated movement data is translated and reorganized by MOS, developing into its own patterns. Rather than simply asking how a robot can learn human movement, the project explores how the intimate movements and inner language of the human body can meet, shift, and take on new forms through an encounter with a robot.
